Public Service Act 2020

Gender and Ethnic Pay Action Plan

Human Rights Act 1993
The Human Rights Act 1993 applies to employment discrimination. This includes job advertisements, application forms, interviews, and job offers. The act is in play before and after the job and applies to unpaid workers and independent contractors. In the event of being discriminated against during recruitment, complaints can be made to the Human Rights Commission and the Human Rights Review Tribunal.
